The Birth of an Artist

Cutwell 4 Kids (C4K) is hosting its sixth annual fundraiser, The Birth of an Artist at Embassy Suites Hot Springs AR 71901 . The event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, from 7-10 p.m. in Hot Springs, Arkansas. In addition to the exciting art work from our community of emerging artists, we will also feature musical talent in areas of jazz and R&B. We will have an extraordinary art sale featuring recent graduate of Hot Springs World Class High School James Avery and featured entertainment Rock Town Youth Jazz Squad, Rodney Block and Quentin Preston. We will also serve hors d’oeuvres.

C4K is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization for kids of all ages. This very hands-on art program allows children to do what they do naturally – play – while gaining valuable learning skills. C4K’s youth-friendly environment is designed especially for kids that are highly active and allows them to express themselves freely with paint. A scary thought for adults, but as artist and founder Anthony Tidwell explains, “We are dedicated to providing a positive atmosphere for kids to express themselves with paint and that’s exactly what we do.”

Each Saturday, May through July, free of charge, kids meet at C4K Studio, 247 Silver Street, in Hot Springs, to acquire and refine their art skills. Proceeds will help C4K continue its mission in the community. Admission for reception is $20 at the door and donations are accepted.
