The Birth of an Artist is a free summer art program for area youth to acquire and refine their art skills. We offer mentoring in the areas of painting, piano, photography, poetry and other creative art activities from May through July at the Cutwell 4 Kids Studio. Registration is required.
The program culminates with The Birth of an Artist Reception showcasing works created by our community of emerging artists. Artwork is for sale with 80 percent of the proceeds going directly to the artists. The Sixth Annual Birth of an Artist Reception will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, from 7-10 p.m. with live jazz and R&B music and hors d’oeuvres. Admission is $20 and supports C4K’s mission of providing free art programs to area youth. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Class Dates: class starts June 1st ends July 20th class meets only on Saturdays off holidays
All materials are provided but for some activities will require Tshirt size & shoe size and these materials are provided as well
